2024 3-star QB EJ Caminong decommits from Washington

It sure seemed to be trending this way for a while, especially with a busy schedule of visits despite being committed to in-state Washington since October. EJ Caminong is coming off a Texas A&M visit and is expected to see BYU and California over the next few couple weeks. Caminong had a scheduled trip to see the Huskies this coming weekend, though those plans have been canceled.
Michigan will have 2025 4-star QB Ryan Montgomery back on campus
SCOOP: 247Sports’ Allen Trieu
Ryan Montgomery (OH) will participate in Michigan’s camp this week and appears to be one of the top quarterbacks in the class early in the cycle. At this point, the only prediction is for in-state Ohio State, according to the 247Sports crystal ball, and this might be turn into a real battle between the two rivals as both look for a 2025 quarterback commit.
East Carolina adds 2024 3-star QB Cole Hodge
SCOOP: Cole Hodge
Cole Hodge (KY) told me he’d be in East Carolina over the weekend, and the Pirates locked down a commitment on Tuesday afternoon. Prior to seeing East Carolina, Hodge went on visits to Arkansas State and Central Michigan. Hodge will join a quarterback room that just signed 3-star QB Raheim Jeter (Stats) to the 2023 recruiting class.

Deyon Batiste (TX) will make an official visit to Iowa State this weekend. Batiste is a 2024 3-star quarterback and said he plans to announce a commitment by the end of the month.
