2024 5-star QB Dylan Raiola commits to Georgia

Dylan Raiola (AZ) is back off the market as Georgia landed one of the best quarterback prospects in the class. He decommitted from Ohio State in December and in addition to the Bulldogs, he was recruited hard by Nebraska, Oregon and USC. This is Georgia’s second 2024 QB commit with 4-star Ryan Puglisi, who has previously said he’ll stick with the Bulldogs even if Raiola was added to the mix.

Former Auburn QB TJ Finley is off to Texas State

TJ Finley (Stats) has three years of eligibility remaining and will join an intriguing Texas State quarterback room. The Bobcats brought in Arkansas transfer Malik Hornsby (Stats) this offseason, and he’s been competing with CJ Rogers (Stats) this spring. It’s no guarantee Finley jumps to the top of the depth chart after two seasons with Auburn and one at LSU.

Georgia Tech loses 2024 4-star QB Jakhari Williams, adds 2024 3-star Aaron Philo

Jakhari Williams (GA) decommitted from Georgia Tech last week, and the Yellow Jackets landed another in-state prospect with Aaron Philo a few days later. Williams committed to Georgia Tech last November, and Philo had been committed to Minnesota for about a month before opening up his recruitment in April.

Former Nebraska, Texas QB Casey Thompson lands at FAU

Casey Thompson (Stats) will spend his final college football season at Florida Atlantic after four years at Texas and one at Nebraska, where he started 10 games in 2022. He was limited during spring practice with the Cornhuskers as he recovers from shoulder surgery. Thompson is immediately the favorite to land the starting spot with Central Michigan transfer Daniel Richardson (Stats) as one of his main challengers.
