COLLEGE FOOTBALL QB REPORT
Quarterback Central | Teams | Players
UCLA QB true freshman Dante Moore (Stats) played well in relief during his first college game in Saturday’s 27-13 win over Coastal Carolina. Moore entered the game in the second quarter and led the Bruins on a touchdown drive and replaced Ethan Garbers (Stats) early in the fourth quarter. Moore completed 7-of-12 passes for 143 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Collin Schlee (Stats) did not play a snap, and it will be interesting to see if Moore takes over the starting role on Saturday at San Diego State.
Alabama QB Jalen Milroe (Stats) earned the start for Saturday’s 56-7 win over Middle Tennessee. Milroe completed 13-of-18 passes for 194 yards with three touchdowns and scored two more rushing scores with 48 yards on seven attempts. Tyler Buchner (Stats) was the second quarterback to enter in a blowout situation, and Ty Simpson (Stats) finished the game. Regardless, Milroe did not do anything to suggest he is not the guy on Saturday night against Texas.
Ohio State QB Kyle McCord (Stats) took nearly all of the reps at quarterback in Saturday’s 23-3 win over Indiana. McCord completed 20-of-33 passes for 239 yards with no touchdowns and an interception, while Devin Brown (Stats) played just four snaps. Head coach Ryan Day said he would’ve liked to play Brown more but did not want to rotate quarterbacks in and out in what was a tight game for nearly three quarters. Brown should be able to get more work on Saturday against Youngstown State.

Week 2 college football QB depth charts & injuries
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart (Stats) received the Week 1 start and threw four touchdowns in Saturday’s 73-7 win over Mercer. Dart was named the starter shortly before game time over Spencer Sanders (Stats), who saw plenty of work in the second half. Both quarterbacks put up big numbers and based on this game and reports during fall camp, Dart is the No. 1 option moving forward. The Rebels will get a tougher test at Tulane on Saturday.
