2026 5⭐ Brady Smigiel (CA) committed to Florida State and credited the culture, family feel throughout the building and great football history. He picked the Seminoles over Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Washington and Arizona. Smigiel told me he nearly committed in April but wanted his entire family to visit before pulling the trigger.
“I love the staff and QB room. Coach Norvell is a winner, holds teams accountable and demands excellence. I have a great relationship with Coach Tokarz, and family loved it. I’m locked in.” -

2025 3⭐ AJ Brand (SC) committed to Virginia Tech where he will play quarterback. In addition to the Hokies, Brand’s finalists included Oregon State and South Carolina, which recruited him as a quarterback or safety. He held 12 offers at the time of his commitment and joins Kelden Ryan (TX) as QBs committed in the Virginia Tech 2025 class.
“I just feel comfortable with the coaches and staff. I also just feel like the offense fits me, and it would be a great place to learn and grow from.” - AJ Brand

2026 3⭐ Oscar Rios (CA) committed to Purdue over a group of finalists that included Auburn, Nebraska, Washington, Utah, Virginia Tech and Kansas with 15 offers. He credited OC Graham Harrell and Senior Offensive Analyst Stanton Keanne.
“The connection I built with Coach Harrell, and Coach Keane is more a player-to-coach bond. I felt like a priority, and West Lafayette is amazing. It’s not big, but it’s better to focus on my academics and sport.”
- Oscar Rios
