FCS Depth Charts & Injuries Headlines
Rhode Island QB Tyler Budge completed 13-of-29 passes for 128 yards and a TD with 51 rushing yards on 5 attempts in Friday’s 34-7 win over Merrimack. He was listed as the backup on the depth chart behind Devin Farrell, who did not play due to injury. Alex McClelland is the third string, followed by Ben Roden and Elliot Newcomb. Rhode Island will play Temple on Saturday. Injury Report: Devin Farrell did not suit up for Week 0 with a lower body injury. He underwent offseason surgery on his left foot.
Butler QB Gabe Passini completed 14-of-23 passes for 145 yards with a TD in Saturday’s 27-23 win over Georgetown (NAIA). He added 176 rushing yards and a TD on 23 attempts. Passini was listed as the backup on the depth chart behind an injured Reagan Andrew, who appeared in the game and is the starter when fully healthy. Jarrin Alley is next in line, followed by Tanner Huckfelt and Christian Kramer. Butler will play Montana State on Saturday. Injury Report: Reagan Andrew will be available this week, a team source told me. He’s not at 100% and is working his way back from an injury.
Weber State QB Devin Brown completed 10-of-20 passes for 179 yards with 2 TDs and an INT in Friday’s 30-29 win over Northern Colorado. He added 34 rushing yards on 5 attempts but exited with an injury. Nate Dahle is listed as the backup on the depth chart and took over, completing 6-of-8 passes for 54 yards. Early in fall camp, a team source told me Kingston Tisdell is in the top three the third string with Cash McCollum and DJ Duran behind him. Weber State will play Southern Utah on Saturday. Injury Report: Devin Brown dislocated his right pinkie finger, head coach Eric Kjar said. It’s unclear whether he’ll miss any games.

Cal Poly QB Anthony Grigsby completed 26-of-35 passes for 319 yards with 4 TDs and added 62 rushing yards and a score on 14 attempts in Friday’s 38-34 win over Idaho. He’s clearly the guy moving forward after being listed as the co-starter with Bo Kelly on the depth chart. Early in fall camp, a team source told me Dermaricus Davis is the third string, followed by Lucas Razore, Berell Staples and Sam Whelan. Cal Poly will play Central Washington (D2) on Saturday. Injury Report: None
