UCF received a commitment from 2025 4-star QB EJ Colson (GA), according to his Twitter account. Colson had a very busy spring visiting campus across the country, and this feels like a big recruiting win for the Knights as they get set to enter Power 5 life this fall. He visited UCF last month in addition to attending the team’s spring game in April. The Knights offered Colson a scholarship in late January as they get a big head start on their 2025 recruiting class.
BYU added a commitment from 2024 3-star QB Carson Su’esu’e (CA), according to ESPN 960’s Brandon Gurney. Su’esu’e is coming off a recent official visit to BYU and will serve his mission prior to joining the Cougars, so it will be a few years before he starts his college football career. He’s also listed as an athlete by Rivals, so it’ll be interesting to see if Su’esu’e sticks at quarterback when he plays for BYU.
Maryland received a crystal ball prediction for 2024 3-star QB Khristian Martin (VA) from 247Sports’ Jeff Ermann. This is the first prediction for where Martin will land among the three major recruiting sites we use. Martin has enough interest from various college football programs and picked up an offer from Texas A&M this spring, though the Aggies now have two 2024 QBs committed. The Terps don’t have a quarterback committed in this class and appear to be in a good spot for Martin.
