Florida lands commitment from 2025 4-star Austin Simmons
SCOOP: Austin Simmons
Austin Simmons didn’t make a surprise announcement as in-state Florida is stockpiling future quarterback talent. Simmons is set to join 4-star DJ Lagway from the 2024 recruiting class after losing 2023 4-stars Marcus Stokes and Jaden Rashada (Stats). Simmons visited the Gators twice last month with more than two dozen FBS offers at the time of his commitment.
2024 4-star Prentiss Air Noland makes his decision
SCOOP: On3’s Joseph Hastings
Prentiss Air Noland (GA) will commit on Saturday but already has his mind made up. After a string of visits over the past month to some of the top teams in the country, the Buckeyes are likely the favorites at this point after On3 put in a prediction. His top seven includes Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M and Oregon.
2024 3-star Deuce Adams will commit today
SCOOP: Deuce Adams
Deuce Adams (TX) didn’t list any finalists or whether a live stream will be available, but he’s scheduled to commit on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET. Assuming he follows through with an announcement, it would be a stunner Adams chooses anything other than Louisville following his return trip to the Cardinals over the weekend. He has double-digit FBS offers as he gets set to make the announcement.

Phil Jurkovec lands Pitt starting QB role
SCOOP: Pitt Athletics
The former Boston College and Notre Dame quarterback was a heavy favorite to start at Pitt following his transfer from the Eagles this offseason. That was confirmed when head coach Pat Narduzzi said Penn State transfer Christian Veilleux (Stats) and Nate Yarnell (Stats) are battling for the backup spot, which only could mean Phil Jurkovec (Stats) is set to be the Week 1 starter.
