2024 4-star QB Michael Van Buren releases top 3
SCOOP: Michael Van Buren
Michael Van Buren (MD) is down to Oregon, Penn State and Maryland with his commitment date still scheduled for July 8. Van Buren visited all three over the last few weeks and will make a return trip to see the Ducks for their spring game on Saturday. The Nittany Lions had been the favorites, but On3 reporters put in predictions for Van Buren to land with the Ducks.
2024 3-star QB Luke Moga delays commitment date

Luke Moga (AZ) announced a decision day for April 28, but it’s it feels like the Michael Van Buren recruitment is having an impact here. Oregon had been considered the frontrunners, but the Ducks cracked Van Buren’s top three this weekend. Moga released a top six recently that includes Oregon, Miami, TCU, BYU, Michigan State and Arizona State. Moga was on the Ducks’ campus this weekend.
Fresno State QB Jaylen Henderson enters transfer portal
SCOOP: Jaylen Henderson
Jaylen Henderson (Stats) picked up interest quickly with Texas A&M and Old Dominion already sending offers this weekend. Henderson played five games over the last two seasons at Fresno State, and the California native has three years of eligibility remaining at his next stop.

Iowa QB Cade McNamara has yet to return to 11-on-11
SCOOP: Iowa Athletics
The Michigan transfer Cade McNamara (Stats) is still recovering from knee surgery that ended his 2022 season early and didn’t take any snaps in 11-on-11 work during all of spring practice. He is the unquestioned starter at Iowa and did participate in seven-on-seven drills during the Hawkeyes’ version of a spring game this weekend. He should be good to go this fall.
