In Today’s Edition, you’ll get a look at the latest quarterback depth chart and injury news for every FBS program. We’re pretty close to being done with transfer and recruiting additions, but I’m sure a few more will happen before the season starts.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll take a deep dive into every QB room heading into the fall camp quarterback battles talking to as many people as I can and reading everything I can find. And this year, I’ve decided to slot every player into the depth chart instead of the top two. If you’re wondering if I’ll spend too much time thinking about what would happen if the top six players in the Army QB room go down with injuries, you’re asking too many questions. But yes.

In addition to the daily QB Recruiting Report and FBS/FCS QB Depth Charts & Injury Report newsletters, you won’t find more accurate recruiting, transfer portal and Juco QB trackers on the internet. The Master Calendar makes the in-season and offseason schedule easier to follow, and it’s updated daily with upcoming QB visits and commitments.

Offseason depth charts are projections for who will crack the two-deep in 2024. These will never be perfect without a regulated system in college football, but I put in the time and research to make sure this is the most accurate resource for QB injury and depth chart news on the internet. Information on these posts come from beat writers, sports information directors and various industry sources with a lot of reading.

The in-season editions reflect what teams release if they decide to post one at all. Coaches mislead on injuries and depth charts every week, but I’ve gotten pretty good at identifying the biggest violators of quarterback misinformation.

Notes on in-season injury designations:

Questionable — Player suffered an injury in the previous game and did not return or has yet to return from injury.
Probable — Player suffered an injury but played and looked reasonably healthy in the previous game.
Out — Player is out indefinitely or will miss the rest of the season.

Notes on eligibility:

Players may play up to 4 games in a season without it counting toward a year of eligibility if they have a redshirt available.
2020 COVID season didn’t count toward a year of eligibility.
Years of eligibility shows years left heading into the 2024 season.
*Indicates redshirt is still available to use.
**Indicates player is serving an LDS mission OR attending service academy prep school. I assume service academy players are in the prep school until they’re listed on the roster.

June 27, 2024 - Drew Hall, Jackson Gutierrez, Charles Robinson Jr., JP Doyle, Dallas Dunn and Myles Slade were announced in Navy’s 2024 recruiting class. Horvath and Woodson are getting all of the meaningful spring practice reps, the Capital Gazette’s Bill Wagner reported on March 26. Horvath took over as the starter before a thumb injury ended his season, and Woodson received extended playing time as a true freshman.

June 23, 2024 - Darius Clark-James announced he’ll attend City College of San Francisco (Juco). He committed to Sam Houston State’s 2024 recruiting class in February. Bauer, Gunnell and Watson received first-team reps this spring, Sports of SHSU reported on April 19. Bauer took over as the Central Michigan starter last season, and Gunnell was the backup behind Shoemaker. Watson played at Iowa Western in 2023.

June 22, 2024 - Macloud Crowton committed to San Jose State. He started the last two seasons at Moorpark (Juco) and could work his way to the top of the depth chart with his game experience advantage. In late April, HC Ken Niumatalolo said it’s neck-to-neck between Eget and Brown to be the starter on the team website. Eget was outside the top three on the depth chart last season, and Brown was not in the two-deep at Washington State in 2023.
