In Today’s Edition, you’ll get the latest news and updates on a busy day of recruiting and transfer portal quarterback commitments. Michigan State locked in a 2025 QB with Leo Hannan, who let me know what went into that decision. The next post will likely come on Friday, and we’ll get back to the regular schedule with updated QB depth chart & injury reports when I return from vacation this weekend.

Noteworthy: I’m visiting my aunt and uncle in a retirement community in Florida this week and entered a cornhole tournament last night. I lost to a husband & wife team in their 90s with dementia. Elouise got the best of me this time around, but I’ve got an entire offseason to prepare for next year’s rematch.

2025 3⭐ Leo Hannan (CA) committed to Michigan State on Monday and landed an offer from the Spartans earlier this year. He told me he chose Michigan State over a trio of finalists that also included Virginia and Colorado.

Tanner Wilson

2025 3⭐ QB Tanner Wilson (CA) has a busy next few days with visits to Washington State (Thursday), Idaho/Eastern Washington (Friday), Boise State (Saturday) and Nevada (Sunday). He’s also planning to take an official visit to Cornell on June 21 with unscheduled OVs with Cal Poly and Montana State. He’s getting the most interest from FCS programs, though Navy is now in daily contact.

Trevor Havill

2025 3⭐ Trevor Havill (KY) has been getting more contact from Penn State and Buffalo and especially Wake Forest recently. The Nittany Lions already have two quarterbacks committed in the class, and Demon Deacons recently added a 2025 QB. Buffalo does not have any quarterbacks committed to this point as Havill’s interest continues to grow with offers from Appalachian State and Bowling Green over the last two weeks.

RECRUITING REPORT

Brady Davidson

2025 3⭐ Brady Davidson (MO) committed to Northern Illinois over the weekend over plenty of interest from MAC programs. He told me the Huskies have been his top option ever since head coach Thomas Hammock offered a scholarship in January.
